Vicoden is a narcotic and it can be addictive and Tramadol is a synthetic narcotic{morphine}. Some people say it is a great but it can cause seizures. If you have headaches or body pain then you shouldn’t be taking Vicoden. The body become resistant to these drugs and you are taking more and more to relieve the same pain. Pain management should be discussed with your Doctor. Neither is better.

I thought that most herbal extracts were ‘syrupy liquid’ because they are ‘cooked down’ … but if yours are ‘powdered, I’d say you should mix them into your ‘beverages’ and ‘drink them down’ the same way you would if they were liquid. NO, you CAN NOT SMOKE THEM … and don’t even try. Some herbal extracts are ‘toxic’ if inhaled and ‘smoking’ may make them even worse.

You can buy glycerin capsules and fill them w the herb– probably get them online or from the Vitamin Shoppe, or even ask at the pharmacy.
Powdered herbs are potent, and your stomach may want to get used to them gradually. So you might prefer adding the herb to teas.
If you can get herbal tinctures, apply them under the tongue.
Sublingually applied vitamins and herbs are absorbed the quickest.
If you drink protein shakes or smoothies; if you use a juicer, add your herbs to the drinks.

Extracts should be in a liquid form, not powder. Smoking an extract is not advisable. Your lungs weren’t made for smoke. Find extracts that are in a liquid form. This is a very potent form of the active herb. You can dilute this many times before taking it. Extracts can be put in a drink that will be more palatable.

I wouldn’t advise it. With a condition such as diverticulitis you should be on a low residue diet, with little acids and things that won’t upset your digestive system. Kratom contains alkaloids that may disrupt your system and aggravate the condition.

You need to get some friends to support you. Friends are always there when you are feeling depressed and are ready to make you feel better. You’re going to have a really tough time, but just make sure you keep in contact with your friends as often as possible so that it doesn’t seem as bad. It’s going to be extremely hard, but you have no choice but to get through this, because you will. Once it’s all over, you’ll become a much stronger person too.

Just think about how good the future is in front of you and aim for there. Forget about the past, it’s behind you.

ahh….kratom….good choice, you should have fun with that. Personally I would smoke the kratom, the extract is in powdered form so you can smoke it. But if you find it too harsh just mix it with very small amounts of water and drink on empty stomach.

If it’s a powder such as Eyebright or Rue, you can always make it into a tea as long as you know that you can actually ingest it. Wouldn’t want anything bad to happen to you now… The best way to make it as a tea is to put in about a teabag size spoonful and boil it in the water itself… Don’t wait until the water is done boiling! You get more of the essence out of it that way. Once you have boiled for about 10 minutes or so, pour yourself a mug full and make sure you stir it every time you take a sip. It will most likely taste gritty to you but it’s the best way to go about things. I did that with Eyebright when I was sick (it helps with congestion… It’s a natural expecterant) and it worked really well! Good luck and make sure you get the facts about your herb before you drink it!
